A guy in Serbia is giving the opportunity to run with assistance from the doggy wheelchairs he makes from scratch to handicapped dogs in his nation.
Everything began after she suffered a spinal injury when Dragan Dimitrijevic made a set of wheels for his dog, Mica. Using old belts, some plastic conduits, and little wheels, Dragan built a wheelchair that let his best friend to run around in the park. This was much to the surprise of other dogs, who came up to investigate the peculiar equipment Mica was sporting.
Word about her wheelchair and Mica quickly distribute among dog lovers around Serbia, and the owners of dogs with similar troubles began calling Dragan for help. Three years after, the computer programmer from Belgrade has made only over 80 wheelchairs for disabled dogs and cats.

“I ‘ve a soft spot for dogs,” Dragan told the Associated Press. “A wheelchair isn’t a remedy, but it empowers them to run, sniff, do all the things other dogs usually do.” At the end of the day, that’s all a dog actually needs to do. Excellent job, Mr. Dimitrijevic!
