When you run across a creepy, deserted building, it”s difficult not to take a peek inside. (It may really be physically impossible.) A couple of years back, a peculiar deserted building that was attached to his town hall was investigated by this Reddit user. He never, in a million years, could have guessed what was interior.
This building had been for years and was totally left. It was time to research.
Underneath and theatre was a row of jail cells.
The doors were old and heavy, and the rooms each had a concrete bed and table interior.
The cells seemingly had tons of visitors before.
(There was graffiti)
This carving appeared to have been made by an offender remaining in.
He must have had lots of time on his hands.
Down we go…
It got pitch dark rather fast.
In order to locate the light switch, he used his camera”s flash. He promptly freaked out, believing he was besieged by folks standing in the dark.
The building was full of the arbitrary items, turns and turn.
Like seats and scattered shopping carts.
Motors, fans and various machines.
The most bizarre part, though, was when they were walking up a set of stairs… and came across this swimming pool.
A swimming pool attached to a town hall, offices and a jail.
With assistance from some lighting, at nighttime, it seemed even more creepy.
The building was like a demented funhouse, with each room featuring something more unusual than the one before.
For example, like this one, covered in moss underneath a skylight.
Or some of the offices packed with technology that is old.
And this was.
A creepy, deserted building wouldn”t be complete without its own sauna.
They kept finding different types of rooms, as they ventured farther underground. This one had patterns piled everywhere.
It appeared to be a machine shop of some form.
It’d be time for me after seeing this. As in, run.
Don”t worry, there was ALSO a laundry with industrial sized washers and driers.
And, for some reason, an excessive number of seats.
The creepiest part of this building wasn”t the fact that it was left. It was the design and layout, which was seemingly planned by someone who was crazy. “A pool, jail house, garage, machine shop and theatre? All together? Why not.”
The building is called the Bruce Street Baths and Swimming Pool, found in Scotland. It used to be a public bath house, which was common at one point in history, but who understands why there were isolation cells attached to it…
This insane building with friends and family, because you may be given a heart attack by researching it yourself.
